I do not know what it is about 10 Miles that makes it hard to get to and even harder to get beyond.
It must be a mental thing because I kept going from I can't take another step to I'm doing fine maybe I'll run all 13.1 today.
Besides the mental struggle my average time for running a mile started to slip. My legs were weary and I could no longer keep up my desired race pace. So I stopped and walked the last two miles home.
On the bright side, I ran 10 miles and averaged what I want my race pace to be! It's only a 5k from here. :) Overall it was a good run, but I was really hoping to hit 11 miles today. Maybe next Saturday.
