Rileys - Indianapolis

This past weekend we made the trip to Riley's Children Hospital in Indianapolis and met with Dr. Mih. We have nothing to say but good things about Dr. Mih. He was very patient with us and took a lot of time to see what Diana could already do with her arms. He was satisfied with the use of her right hand but as we had noticed rarely uses her left. He wants to start some out-patient surgeries on it to correct the position of the left hand. Dr Mih would like her to be able to perform more two-handed tasks that will help her perform every day tasks we take for granted. It will be pinned and need to stay out of water for a while but he was ok with waiting till fall to start treatement since she seems to be a fish in the pool.

We also had a blast at Mark & Julie's house. Here is Diana with a toy chainsaw. I think she has been playing with her brothers too much. We need more girly influences in her life during play time.
