Der Schnee

I usually only speak German when I am upset and I am not used to be upset at snow...

This picture was taken this morning before I left to work. Our poor magnolia, that was about to bloom, is covered in snow.

I can smell the magnolias in my mind and it makes me sick to think that the snow is going to kill off the blooms this year.

I usually like snow. It usually means I do not have to worry about mowing the grass or allergies.

This morning it made me sad to see it. I am so ready for spring and summer. Maybe I just want school to be out. =-)
