It's been a busy, busy, busy month for all of us. Otto had a new store opening to tend to, and the bow business really boomed for me these past few weeks. Along with kids' activities, we were kept running!
To get you back up to speed, I thought I would take it a kid at a time. So, here's what's happening in Diana's life:
Diana has been doing great in school! She has a terrific helper, who assists her in the classroom, but expects her to do everything for herself that she can. Here's a paper she brought home recently. This is from the little girl who not too long ago couldn't remember a single letter for more than 10 seconds! =)
A huge event for Diana was losing her first tooth - make that teeth! Her two front bottom teeth were both really loose, and she lost them both just a couple hours apart! At first she didn't know what to think, if she should be upset or what, but seeing Mommy's excitement helped. She was really proud of herself and so happy to tell everyone! We missed out on so many of the early milestones, that we tend to make a big deal out of all the ones we get to be a part of!
We're still having issues with the whole not eating well/digestive system stuff, but I'm learning to not let it get to me so much - sometimes. It's still really hard for me, but I know the calmer I am, the better she is, so I try. I fail often, but I try.
We had one appointment at Shriner's, and have another one in February. We were hoping to wait until we had all the medical info before making any decisions. I think at this point, we know what direction we want to head, and now need to decide where's the best place to go about that. We'll let you know when we have more firm decisions.
Congratulations, Diana!!! Wow, many exciting things happening in your life!
