That is the question! Well, I'll just come out and say it. I have "repaired" the toilet in the boys' bathroom twice in my life. The complete kit, not just the flapper. All I can say is don't waste your money. I feel like I have flushed good money down the toilet, only my toilet won't flush. The boys keep telling me it is "plugged" again. I suppose eventually I will break down and purchase a new toilet so that it works without issue. At this point though I will probably wait till we get Diana home. So far she is not fond of straddling anything... and it might just be something related to keeping her balance. So I might wait till we can figure out what she is comfortable with. We have lived with it this long... what's another year going to hurt. On the other hand, I put a new burner in my grill and that is a definite improvement. I feel like I have a new grill again. Even the igniter works!
