Summer Dress

I was looking forward to making lots of summery things for Diana this year. I've been collecting patterns and fabric for months years. (one of my many collections, along with scrapbook paper, stickers, ribbon, buttons...they don't necessarily get used - just fun things to collect!) =D LOL!! So, a couple weeks ago I finally started. Usually it only takes me a couple days to get something done, but this one took a couple weeks! Not because it was hard - it went together very easily - but it's so hard to sew when I have mountains of laundry and piles of dishes, kids want to swim, and for some reason my hubby likes to eat dinner when he gets home. haha. But, finally, here it is:

I am pleased with how it turned out. The pattern lended itself to some fun details, so it was very fun to embellish it! She loves it too, which is a bonus! =)
