School started this past week. I was sad to see summer vacation come to a close, but by the time it came around to it, I was ready for a schedule again. And wow! It's so hard to believe that we have third grader in our house!! Am I really old enough for that?!?
Sammy is a first grader, and adjusting well to going all day.
Of course, the big news is Diana going to Kindergarten! Whoo-hoo!! I have no children for about 2 1/2 hours. The peace and quiet has been blissful! As a social butterfly, she loves it. It's been a week now, and we've had some issues at home with adjusting to the new schedule, but I'm sure we'll all get through it. She has a "helper", who I think will be really good for her. Today she told me that Diana wrote her name all by herself - HUGE!
She looks so chipper in her cute little backpack! :D
