Christmas Fun!

The "big" holiday is over, and now we can rest and reflect. We had a busy month, and it's catching up with us. Today, it was so nice just to relax after church. I'm planning to order pizza soon. yummmm.

Here's a little picture tour of our holiday:
Sammy made this cute little gingerbread house at school on Grandparents' Day. In typical Sammy fashion, I couldn't get him to smile for the picture.
Kenneth celebrated his 8th birthday with a "Wall-e" theme. Count on Grandpa to provide the laughter! =)
It wasn't hard to tell if he liked this present - his first ipod! He's had so much fun with it, and keeps us updated on how many songs he has on it!

I had all these grand plans for the week of Christmas, baking, going shopping, doing fun activities. Where did the week go?!? I hardly got anything done! We did manage to get in some bowling, and some cookie decorating:

The boys got to start their break from school a little early because of the ice and snow. Kenneth managed to make this cute little fellow out of not-packing snow, and he survived until the melt this weekend.

Sammy inspired me to update our tree decorations. I was looking at purple poinsettias and he latched onto some lovely turquoisey ones. So, the tree got a makeover this year into purple and turquoise - anyone want some blue and red ornaments?? =)

Well, that pretty much leads up to the actual big day. I think it deserves it's own posting, so I'll do it later... =)
