A Downpour

Today Otto's co-workers at Goodwill threw Diana a "Welcome Home" shower - and what a shower it was! They really blew us away with their excitement and generosity. There were cute decorations, balloons, cake and LOADS of gifts. But mostly, we were so overwhelmed by the warmth and kindness they showed all of us -even the boys got goodies-galore! We figure Diana probably now thinks that what Daddy does at work is have parties, with cake and presents!

One of the ladies created a very sweet poem for Diana:

Though you don't understand it now, later it will all become quite clear
As to why you were given to this loving family and why God chose you to come here.
You have some barriers and special needs; of that we're all aware.
And the family that God has picked for you will give you love and special care.
You have a Mom and Dad now and some awesome brothers too,
Because this is the plan that God has laid out and chosen especially for you.

I love it - isn't that the neatest thing!
