Okay, deep breath

He says it so calmly - like just any other blog...

Here's me shrieking and doing a happy dance:

Okay, take a deep breath... Look throught the planner to figure out what needs to be changed or cancelled or hurried up and done... Get to the strawberries I picked this morning, blissfully unaware that my life was going to turn a little chaotic in a matter of an hour!!! =)

I'm just so THRILLED that it's going to happen - and that I can get back to planning my life. It's amazing - over a year of planning is boiling down to the next few weeks!! I'm glad the horrible waiting and wondering are almost over!!

Hmm, a few details might be nice, huh? We're leaving next Wednesday, the 18th for the first half of this trip. Our court date is June 23; we'll head back home on the 24th. The court decree goes into effect 10 days later, which lands on July 4th. =) So, we'll be home about a week, then head back. I don't think we have that trip nailed down yet. That one will be at least a week long, which puts us coming home sometime around the 13th of all goes well.

  1. Hi Otto & DeAnn - I just mentioned to Bob yesterday that it will soon be time for your trip. Praise God. Seems your dream is coming to a great closure soon. We are so thankful for you and your family and now that you are going to extend your family by one. Know that we luv ya all and the one that is in the process of coming. Bob and Arlene

  2. Hi again - just want you to know all the dates are on the calendar and our prayers go with you and will be with you each day. Bob picked a market basket of strawberries for me Tuesday at Hilltop. I made a short cake and we are eating good. Cut back on sugar as much as possible. Now priorities are first to get ready and DeAnn, please do not tire yourself out for the trip. Arlene

  3. Oh, don't worry, Arlene! I'm always tired, so I won't even notice! =) Actually, I've been enjoying summer vacation - sleeping in, so I'm feeling great! The chaos was mostly yesterday, since I had to run in to FedEx to overnight our passports for our visas, finish up strawberries, and rearrange our schedules. I'm back to watering flowers this morning - one of my favorite tasks, and strangely relaxing!
