Don't worry, we haven't found any skunks. I am talking about new money. I was at the bank this morning and watched them open a new brick of money to give me new bills to take to Russia. I was getting a little nervous as yesterday I was running around bank to bank looking for the best $100 bills I could find. It is one headache that is finally over and not a moment too soon. I don't know if anyone has even smelled new money, but it really does stink.
No, Otto, I have never smelled NEW 100$ bills....come to think of it I have never smelled 100$ bills... : ) Wishing you guys a wonderful trip... Praying for God's abiding peace to help calm the jitters as you go to meet your new daughter!! Lotsa love,

Yes, Otto, I have smelled lots of all new bills from $100's all the way down to $1's because I was a bank teller and also cash teller and you are correct it does not smell good. I guess I understand why you had to have $100's but why did they have to be new? I am guessing that you are leaving real soon like maybe Saturday, May 10 or soon. Bob and I will committ to pray for you until we know you are back home and God's Blessings go with you and pray he puts angels all around every mode of trasportation that you use. We luv ya so much and are very excited for you. Bob and Arlene Kaehr
ReplyDeleteHi, Arlene! They specify we take "new and unmarked" bills. I guess it can be harder than I thought it would be to find them - I heard the same story from other adoptive parents! And yes, we are leaving today!!
